isn't cabbage a great name for a palin?

dear friends,

so, as part of one of my most used work related reward schemes, i allowed myself to peruse ebay a little this afternoon. my target, moss lamps. but i got distracted by this charity auction for election related cabbage patch dolls.

observations:

(1) bidding suggests that republicans are bigger fans of collectible dolls. unsuprising.

(2) cabbage palin is my new favourite made up palin name.

one of the reasons i go to ireland for free all the time is synergies. i am not even really sure what that means in the professional sense, but in the internets sense, this new pedro (sorry, david bazan) song combines my emo-music post with my election cuteness post.

also, isn't david bazan looking hella creepy there?

ps- in what has become an annual tradition, i got brother by another mother one of each colour of these. they're always really beautiful and if you can snag copies on ebay, i would.
