dear friends,
today i read about a new tv show that i feel i will undoubtedly watch: tommy lee goes to the university of nebraska-lincon. you can read all about it at the globe and mail.

also, at my own school... fellow sociologist-in-training stefan's band general rudie is playing at el salon (4388 st-laurent, below st-joseph). from stefan:

"it's $6 to get in, the opening band should go on at 8:45, and our show should start at 9:30. it'll end pretty early because it's an all ages gig."

i will be at my grannie's all weekend, but if you are in montreal general rudie put on a really entertaining show.
